Hold three town halls each year so that my constituents can hear from me about my work and I can hear from them about their concerns.
Articulate my positions on key issues before voting on major bills because my constituents should not be left in the dark on where I stand on issues that affect their daily lives.
Not block constituents who engage with common decency on social media, both out of respect for their views – while they may differ – but also out of an interest in receiving open, honest, and constructive feedback.
Remain open to listening to constituents, even when they disagree, and engage in a frank and honest conversation that strengthens our community and reinforces representative democracy as the bedrock of our republic.
