Dear [REDACTED],

Thank you for contacting me about H.R. 861, to terminate the Environmental Protection Agency. I appreciate you taking the time to share your views with me. I share you concerns about this bill and oppose its passage.

H.R. 861 was introduced by Representative Matt Gaetz on February 2, 2017. The bill was referred to multiple committees of jurisdiction, and I serve on two of those committees. I would oppose this bill if it were taken under consideration by one of the committees in which I serve or under consideration on the floor by the full House of Representatives.

Thank you again for contacting me. It is a privilege to serve you in the Tenth District. I may also be contacted at my Sterling office at 703-404-6903, or my Washington, D.C. office at 202-225-5136.
